Build 8832 Outlook Favorite Folders disappearing
Problem reported by Bert Garrett-Tuck - 3/10/2024 at 2:38 PM
Resolved
New issue with  100.0.8832.26515

MAPI accounts & Outlook integration issue.
After upgrade from early Feb build, favorite (favourite) folders disappear from the top left of Outlook.
Adding them back seems to stick until you re-start Outlook. They disappear again.
Running Outlook.exe /resetnavpane seems to restore an old favourites list. Close Outlook. Open it again. The old list of favourites disappears once again.

Hello Bert! I was able to reproduce the favorite loss issue and have escalated the issue to our development team for review.

Just installed Build 8860 last night and we're seeing the Favorites folders disappear again from the top left of Outlook. They disappear at random intervals as far as we can see. Adding them back seems to persist through re-start of Outlook. But at some interval, they disappear again. In our case the disappearing folders are IMAP mailboxes (Gmail and others). The MAPI folders marked favorite stay.
