What is the difference between RBL and URIBL ? And where are they stored at for smartermail ?

Yes, What is the difference between RBL and URIBL ? 
I saw another post where Tim was saying RBL's are not effective and SM not going to do much with it. Does that count for URIBL too ?

So then leads me to the next question of, where are they stored at for smartermail ? I dont want to manually create each entry and would rather directly edit (import) a xml file or json or something.

Very basically, RBLs are for IP based blacklists (for checkings IPs of the senders) while URIBLs are for domain names blacklists (can be applied to mail sender address, URLs in the body of the message, etc)

For configuring them in SmarterMail though, I can't help you much. We are not using any antispam/virus feature of SmarterMail as we do the filtering on our front incoming mail gateways.

RBLs and URIBLs are configured on adjacent tabs.
