I tried sending an email to my vendor but it got rejected with this message

550 5.7.0 Message rejected per DMARC policy

the DMARC records are

     v=DMARC1; p=reject; sp=reject; " "rua=mailto:user@bookandhost.com; " "ruf=mailto:user@bookandhost.com; " "rf=afrf; pct=100; ri=86400

can you advice something on this.

DMARC involves DKIM and SPF as well.  These DNS records must be correct too.

Configuring DMARC for a domain is an extremely sensitive part and will take a lot of time because there will be risks during the implementation process. The risk is that when configuring DMARC, legitimate mail may be discarded.

This question is best answered by looking at the rua eports.  Since you have an error, it should be evident.

You should not use p=reject until you have studied feedback and verified that you have no mistakes.
