David, this might be the BMP failing to upload before a database or web server timeout. How big is that BMP file? I know its usually cautioned against using BMP files due to their being larger in most cases, which can cause long load times on web interfaces. Let me know what you find out :)

  The two BMP files I tried are 134 KB and 35 KB in size.  The JPG that works is 31 KB.

  Remember it does display on the preview, but when I save it takes me back and when

I go into it again it is gone.

   I just installed Build 7607 (Oct 29, 2020) same problem.  Does it work for you when you use a BMP image?
