BETA 7451: issue with forwarding (REROUTE) in the same domain
Problem reported by Gabriele Maoret - SERSIS - 5/28/2020 at 2:50 AM
Resolved
I have a customer that have many account and one of them must reroute some messages to another account in the same domain using a Content Filtering rule.

When the filter is triggered I receive this message:

-----Messaggio originale-----
Da: System Administrator <System Administrator>
Inviato: giovedì 28 maggio 2020 11:29
A: mail1@domain.it
Oggetto: Forwarding to revert.it is not allowed

A content filter contains a forward to mail2@domain.it.  Forwards to domain.it are not allowed.

What can I do to have the Content Filtering rule with REROUTE action to work?

Gabriele, ensure that the domain has "Automated Forwarding" enabled (Domains > Configuration > Features), that the domain.it is not in the forwarding blacklist (System > Settings > Delivery Limits > Do Not Forward), and the spam level of the message and the corresponding Forwarding Exclusion (Domains > Configuration > Email).
