MSSQL to MySQL Database Conversion

We're running v10.4 of SmarterTrack and while we'd like to upgrade, it's the last application supported by a legacy MSSQL installation that we're trying to get rid of.  What is the migration path to move a database from MSSQL to MySQL?  We can run the import Wizard on MySQL, however it sometimes classifies fields as the wrong data type, which we're concerned about.

Is there a script we can run afterwards to convert all fields to the proper data type and reindex the database?  We asked about this a while back and was told it's just not possible, so it's either on to another product for us or we get this migration done and continue using SmarterTrack.
