Content Filtering - Extensions - Enable wildcards in search strings ( * and ? )

I enabled the "wildcards in search strings" option for Extensions content filtering. I entered doc* to capture attachments with extensions ending in docm, docx, etc. However, the filter is capturing emails whose attachments contain "doc" anywhere in the filename such as "Doc Dec 19, 2016.pdf."  Is this intended behavior?.

Might be better to use. And yes the behavior seems to be working correctly. Since your wildcard allows anything after doc.

Thanks, Matt, I'll try it. Odd though, because the filter should only apply to extensions, not to what precedes the extension in the file name. The "." is not necessary when not using wildcards.
