Community Notifications - Status Updates Only

Hi everyone!
 
I had a thought for a Community feature request: An option to receive notifications for ALL thread updates or only updates posted by Community employees.  
 
This request stems from my experience in following one of Microsoft's community discussions. I subscribed to the discussion in order to be notified when an Outlook bug is fixed. However, now I receive every user's response in an email (there are many!!). Instead of receiving every update, I'd really prefer to only be notified when a Microsoft employee responds. Unfortunately it's not possible with Microsoft's forum, and I figured this would be a good implementation in SmarterTrack as well. 
 
If implemented, how would you like to see it work?
 
Personally, I think being notified when the status has been updated would be plenty for me in some threads. (Ones where you're only tracking the resolution/answer to a problem/question and don't need to participate in user discussions.) Alternatively, an option to be notified when an employee comments or replies could be beneficial as well. 
 
What do you think? Is this something you'd be interested in or are you satisfied with the notification options currently available? (Think both in terms of participating in our SmarterTools Community here, as well as your own SmarterTrack installations.)
