Mailing List "Length cannot be less than zero"

Created a mailing list with two email addresses.  Send message to list from email address 1, list broadcasts back to address 1 and 2.

Reply to first message using email address 1.  To address is the list address, as configured.  Message is never broadcast out to either address 1 or 2.

Checked Delivery log; for the time period of the missing message, the log reads:

[2015.08.07] 15:46:22 [73433] Delivery started for [SENDER_ADDRESS] at 3:46:22 PM
[2015.08.07] 15:46:32 [73433] Skipping spam checks: User authenticated
[2015.08.07] 15:46:37 [73433] Starting local delivery to [LIST_ADDRESS]
[2015.08.07] 15:46:37 [73433] Processing Mailing List: [LIST_ADDRESS]
[2015.08.07] 15:46:38 [73433] Delivery for [SENDER_ADDRESS] to [LIST_ADDRESS] has completed (Delivered)
[2015.08.07] 15:46:38 [73433] Exception: Length cannot be less than zero.
[2015.08.07] 15:46:38 [73433] Delivery finished for [SENDER_ADDRESS] at 3:46:38 PM    [id:-887530573433]

This could explain why i've had some clients complain that some of their list messages go missing/never received by the group.  Help!

I have been unable to replicate your issue.  What are your exact settings for following mailing list settings?

Marc,

What is you mailing list's Allowed Posters setting?

Can you edit the mailing list and check under the "System Messages" tab.  What is the current Content for "insufficientposintgpermissionemail"?

In the email message that you are sending, are you using any custom fields (subscriber fields or built-in mailing list variables)?

Allowed posters = Moderator only, with the correct email account chosen

the insufficient posting content is simply "Sorry, you do not have permission to post to the {0} mailing list." which i believe is the default.

not using any custom fields in the message being sent

Marc,

I have been unable to replicate your issue with the settings you have provided.  I would recommend that you open a support ticket so that our support staff can get access to your web interface and replicate the issue.
