Creating community login

I want to create a community login here separate from our company account.  I can't find a way to do it -- all I see are login options.  Is it possible?  If not, prospective customers can't ask the community questions about the SmarterTools products.

They've hidden or disabled registration after the community took a serious spam blow a few weeks ago.
 
You could email sales@ and ask for assistance or wait for them to hopefully see your post.

wow, did not realize that, I thought the lack of spam was from captcha integration...
 
Seems like they may be limiting new customers this way.

Hey guys,
 
After some discussion, we removed the option to register at our Portal. No need to worry though; just contact our sales team to request an account and we'll get you set up.

This makes absolutely zero sense.  How are prospective customers going to ask questions about the SmarterTools products?  If they're like me, they want to hear from existing customers, not someone in the sales department.  There are better solutions to handling bogus registrations.
