SmarterTools allows customers to modify the look and feel of SmarterTools products with the new STInterfaceFramework. This new framework provides the option for SmarterTools Web interfaces to be custom skinned, allowing for a unified appearance.
In regards to white labeling, there are some limitations of customization as outlined in Section 9 in the product EULA. In short, it states the following:
Limitations to Customization
Should You choose to alter the appearance and/or user interface of the
Software (the "Skin") by using the custom style or Skin options included
in certain versions of the Software or by using a third-party process
to alter the appearance or interface of the Software, the following
requirements must be met:
* You shall maintain and not remove or obscure any proprietary notices
in the Software. The SmarterTools name may be displayed in any font type
or style, but it must be displayed in no smaller than 8-point font. The
name of the Software shall remain visible to the naked eye and free
from any clutter or similar color scheme (e.g. black font on a black or
similarly dark background that would preclude the user from easily
identifying the Software). Use of the qualifiers "powered by" and
"provided by" is permitted (e.g. "Powered by SmarterMail"). Any
deviation from these limitations must be approved in writing by
SmarterTools in advance of implementation and may result in additional
license fees, if applicable.
* All applicable copyright and trademark information shall not be
removed, remain visible to the naked eye, free from any clutter or
similar color scheme, and can be displayed in any font type or style but
shall be displayed in no smaller than 8-point font.
For customers that wish to inquire about white labeling, we have some requirements for allowing this option.
- for SmarterMail need to have 5 or more active licenses that are 1000 mail boxes or
more.
- for Smarterstats need to have 50000 sites or more.
- for
SmarterTrack need to have 200 agents or more.
All whitelabeling will need
