Sync Outlook's Native Calendar and Contacts List to SmarterMail Using the Outlook CalDAV Sync Plugin

SmarterMail supports a number of syncing options and one of those is Add to Outlook. However, one limitation of Add to Outlook is that the SmarterMail calendar and contact list are synced to a secondary contact list or calendar in Outlook. To get a native Outlook sync of your SmarterMail calendar and contacts, use Outlook CalDAV Synchronizer.

Outlook CalDAV Synchronizer is a free and open-source Outlook plugin that can be used to synchronize calendar events, tasks and contacts from Outlook to supported CalDAV / CardDAV servers. When used with SmarterMail, this plugin allows users to accept calendar appointments for Outlook's native calendar and sync those entries to the primary calendar in SmarterMail. This acts as a great workaround for users who cannot accept meeting invites within Outlook when utilizing the built-in Add to Outlook syncing.

NOTE: Outlook CalDAV Synchronizer is a third-party plugin and is not affiliated with SmarterTools products or services. As a result, we cannot offer technical support on the plugin itself.

Applies to SmarterMail Enterprise 8.x - 15.x
