Secure Link Broken Issues

Secure Link Broken issues can occur for a variety of reasons but can be corrected fairly easily.

Applies to SmarterStats 7.x - 11.x

To resolve this issue follow the steps below.

  1. Log on to the SmarterStats server that is reporting this issue.
  2. Go to the Service folder of the install path of SmarterStats (default C:\Program Files\SmarterTools\SmarterStats\Service for 32 bit or C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterStats\Service for 64 bit machines)
  3. Right-click on the ResetSecureLink.bat file and choose Run As Administrator.
  4. A window will open up letting you know the issue has been resolved. Click Close.

Following this procedure will resolve the Secure Link Broken issue, and SmarterStats should now be able to communicate with the service correctly.

This workaround didn't solve the problem. Instead every website we created can not be displayed anymore

Hi Javier. Please consider submitting a ticket to our Support Department to troubleshoot this issue. This is not expected behavior. With a ticket on your account, you can reach the support department by clicking on the Tickets tab.
