Call .wav File

Hi there

I've been trying to play a downloaded .wav file from the call log of SmarterTrack. It is a voice recording between the agent and the customer who were on the call conversation.

Unfortunately, the .wav file can't be played despite of my numerous attempts and it kept prompting an error message "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

Anyone knows about this as to how it can be resolved?

Any inputs are much appreciated.

Thank you.

Regards
SengKin

Hi SengKin,

SmarterTrack will use ogg encoding for the voice.  This compress the file to save space.  You can use VLC Media Player to listen to the files, or any other play the support the ogg codex.
