Strange reply behavior after installing May 2017 Updates for Server 2012 R2

We are self-hosting SmarterTrack v12.6 on a Windows Server 2012 R2 server.  We are using IIS 8 for the web server, and MySQL v5.6 for the database server.
 
Things were working great until I installed the latest batch of security patches from Microsoft for May:
- 2017-05 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows Server 2012 R2 for x64-based Systems (KB4019215)
- May, 2017 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2 on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 for x64 (KB4019114)
 
Now, when I pull up a reply window for a ticket, it will sit blank for a long time (15-30 seconds) with "Establishing secure connection..." at the bottom of the window.  It will eventually come up, and sometimes will respond normally but other times the Send drop down is broken and won't let you drop down to say "Send and Mark Closed".  It think it works at first and then after a period of time it stops working.
 
Has anyone else experienced these issues?  As I mentioned, before the updates, everything was totally fine.

Has nobody else experienced this issue?  Is anyone else running a SmarterTrack 12.6 setup like ours and not having issues?  Any input is greatly appreciated.
