TLD domain blocking
Question asked by Brett Humphries - 4/26/2017 at 8:57 AM

We have a LOT of spam coming for TLD .us but we also have one or two legitimate subdomains of .us that we need to allow in.

I've attempted EHLO SMTP Blocking, but haven't found a suitable way to be granular enough. Any suggestions on how we might allow a few subdomains, but primarily block the .us TLD?

It would be great if EHLO could follow some logic like a firewall, i.e. we could put a few domains in as allow and deny all others. Maybe there's a better way?

Thanks,

Brett

Hi Brett,

The way I've been blocked TLDs has been by using Custom Rules.

Something like this: http://imgur.com/a/eGr3z

You could block .us then under trusted senders add the .us domains you want through. That might work?

Kind regards,
Sean
