SmarterMail does not currently support SMTP UTF-8; however, I know that support for international domain names and addresses is planned for a future version of the product. I can't guarantee which version, as SmarterMail 16.x will focus mainly on interface changes, but it's on our list to be added soon. I'll change this thread from a Question to a Proposed Idea in order to facilitate tracking on this request.
