I would like to describe an interesting problem that I have been reported in smartemail 14.4.5801. If I run a search for any term in the inbox and then I go to the spam box for example, and I click to select all the messages in this folder and then perform effectively delete the messages that are excluded are those that were the result of the search that I did moments before that action, not what I selected. I think you need to check it.

I'm not sure that I understand the issue correctly, so let me rephrase it and see if this is correct... When you search for a phrase in the Inbox and then navigate to the Junk Email folder, deleting all junk messages deletes everything EXCEPT for the items that would have met the Inbox search you did. So, for example, you search for "Price Quotes" in your Inbox. When you Select All > Delete messages in your junk mail afterwards, the only items that remain are the emails with "price quotes" in it. Is this correct?

not .... in your exemple the only items deleted effectively are the emails with "price quotes" that was found in inbox search made moments before ... understood? .... it occurs in any delete action after a search

Victor, this bug has been fixed in the latest version (14.5.5871). I'm guessing it's this item from the release notes:
  • Fixed: Searches now function correctly in webmail when using a session state server.

Ahh I see. So it's deleting the emails that meet the Inbox's search parameters and keeping any that don't.

Victor, here are the steps on how you can complete a Minor Upgrade of SmarterMail to get to the latest version that includes this fix.

It's been fixed in 14.x for a while now. It will be in the next 15.
