Error 403

I am trying to allow customers to login into the SmarterMail account via a browser.  When the type in the URL (per the instructions) they are getting a "Error 403."  Websites and eMail are hosted on different servers withing the same Static IP address.  I am running Abyss X2 software on the website host server.  The Error 403 also says "Powered by Abyss"  so..... it has to be looking at the website host.  Can anyone help me open this up so customers can access email.... change passwords...etc???
