Can the "<path to>\SmarterLogs\<site id>" directory be backed up and restored if the original IIS logs are gone?

If for some reason that the original website log files are gone, can we back up the flat files in the SmarterLogs\<site id> directory and restore them?

Would a reprocess of the files be necessary if so?

Thanks!

Yes, once SmarterStats processes the raw IIS logs all data is stored in the SmarterLogs location.  If for any reason you need to restore a site, even if the original IIS logs are no longer available, the SmarterLogs folder can be used.  Also a reprocess would not be needed.
