HELP!! Error 1603 Fatal Error During Installation

Not A Problem
I tried to do a regular update to my smarter mail and I'm getting an error 1603 Fatal Error During Installation.  It didn't offer an option to abort the install and I'm down hard.  Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!

Disregard. I rebooted my server and then it started working.
