See Users Not Assigned To An Organization
Idea shared by Ben Santiardo - 5/7/2015 at 8:24 AM
Declined
In our agency, we are looking to have every single user account assigned to an organization. I see that in SmarterTrack v11 you can add a Domain to the membership list which is great for catching user accounts that belong to a company. However, we can easily see situations where accounts may not be "auto linked" in cases where the users signing up use a personal E-Mail account (ie: GMAIL, AOL, etc...).

Is there a way to either be automatically notified (preferable), or be able to create an event for a new user account created that failed to be linked to an organization (next preferable scenario), or run a report that can display all user accounts that are not associated to an organization? This way we can assign the user to the appropriate organization manually?

Without us being able to see that there are "unlinked" accounts we cannot ensure all users are assigned an organization and would defeat the purpose of having the ability to link users to organizations.

Hello,
There is currently no way to do this, but seems like it could be a good feature to have. I am going to change this thread to type 'idea' so others can vote on it.
Thank you,

Hello Ben,

We met yesterday to discuss the requested features list for future versions of SmarterTrack, and I'm sorry to report that this change is not on our roadmap for a future release. We'd like to thank you for your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience this causes. At this time, I would encourage you to configure a system even to notify you of user registrations so you can ensure users are properly added to an Organization.

If plans for the future change, we will be sure to post an update here.
