How do I use shared calendars when using EAS and Outlook?
Question asked by Joe Davis - 11/20/2014 at 11:13 AM
Unanswered
We have a client who would like to be able to use a shared calendar resource in Outlook. They connect to the server from Outlook 2013 using EAS.

The "Open Shared Calendar" feature of Outlook can't find any calendar which has been shared to any of the users.

We're willing to use CalDav with Outlook but as Outlook doesn't support CalDav natively we've tried various CalDav plugins for Outlook but haven't had any luck with those either.

We're looking for two-way communication if possible but we'll setting for one-way if that's all we can get.

Thanks,
Joe

Nevermind, I had misread this (http://portal.smartertools.com/kb/a2789/synchronize-smartermail-with-outlook-using-add-to-outlook.aspx). I thought it said that syncing shared calendars didn't work. It doesn't sync shared DOMAIN calendars.

I should be good with this.

Thanks,
Joe
