Incoming email containing HTML
Question asked by Chris McLellan - 4/4/2014 at 6:43 PM
Answered
We have numerous departments that pull from our POP3 email accounts.  Any of these emails that contain HTML have the HTML stripped by SmarterTrack  This makes it very difficult to read these emails.  Is there any way to make SmarterTrack NOT strip HTML.  If someone can point me in the right direction to accomplish this they will be my hero!

Thank You,
Chris

Hello Chris,
There is a wheel you can click on in the top right hand corner of each incoming email of SmarterTrack that you can click on 'View HTML' and it will show you a page with the rendered HTML.
Hope this helps!

Ashley,

Thank you for your prompt reply.  I actually feel silly as I can't believe I did not figure this out on my own.  Knowing this will be a huge help.

Thank You,
Chris

We are having a similar problem. We are on 15.7 and every email sent within our domain (from one staff person to another) comes through as text, including emails with HTML that we forward to each other. When we click on VIEW, the VIEW HTML option is not there.
Also, for other incoming email, it is frustrating to have to pick VIEW HTML for every single email. Can't SmarterMail know the difference, and can't we set up a preference?
