Completed Tasks do not syncing to Outlook?

When you sync your Task list to Outlook and mark a task as complete on the Web interface in it does not show completed in Outlook, and vice versa.   Also when you mark an item as complete in one version of Outlook, say 2007, and you go to a 2013 Outlook client it does the same.
 
It will show the Progress as 100% but Outlook or the Web interface do mark the task complete which means you cannot see only Active Tasks.
 
We are running SM 12 but it has been this way with previous versions as well. 
 
Is there something in the SM configuration or Outlook that can changed to make completed Tasks sync correctly?

This is a problem because it makes the Tasks lists in SM useless if you use Outlook as a client.  
 
Is there anyone using the Task in SM?

Hunter, thank you for posting your issue with task syncing.  After the recent release of SmarterMail 13, a significant portent of development time will be spent addressing syncing issues across multiple protocols and clients.  At this time, I cannot provide a specific timeline as to when the issue will be fixed, but it is currently being looked into.
 
To help facilitate this issue tracking, I am changing the thread to "Problem".
