Reminder in tasks not working
Problem reported by Chris Le - 9/29/2014 at 2:16 PM
Resolved
Setting the reminder in a task to an X amount of minutes does nothing. No pop-ups, nothing in the reminders link, no email reminder, nothing.

Some update about this? We can't get reminder working either on tasks. Just get 1 reminder working on 1 task, but we don't know how, and can't get any more reminders.

This may or may not be related, but using Outlook 2013 and iOS 7 connected to an account with ActiveSync, reminders on calendar events never fire. A user can send an invite and set a reminder notification when creating the invite, but at some point the reminder becomes deactivated before it is supposed to fire (15 minutes before event, in most cases), and never fires in Outlook. When you open the event in Outlook, the reminder is disabled as though it were never sent.

Jason, the issue with EAS and reminders being disabled has been fixed and will be available in the next minor release, which is tentatively scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.  Outlook and iOS reminders should now properly fire.

Chris and Giuseppe, I have add the task reminders issue to our bugs list.

Today, we have released SmarterMail 13.2.  It fixes the issue with reminders being disabled after an EAS sync.

I have set calendar appointments-- but for several days I have not received the reminders.
