Interestingly, I noticed our mail server has an initial slow response time (just over 10 seconds). When I run the tool again just a few minutes later, the response time is very fast (less than 1 second). Subsequent tests are very fast as well.
My question(s):
Is this typical behavior and should be expected?
Is SmarterMail "tarpitting" to defer spammers?
Is there a way to fix the initial slow response?
