Last login and IP address at the user "My Today Page"
Idea shared by Gilbert Li - 1/30/2015 at 12:37 PM
Under Consideration
For security and auditing purpose, I suggest to add the
last login time and date and IP address of the last login
to show up at the user's "My Today Page.

It can make the official user has much more confidence to use
the smartermail web mail.

The other web mail I use before ( desknow ) has this feature.

Thanks

Maybe we should go further and provide IPs from last 24 hours?

Thanks and I think it is useful for auditing and security purpose. By the way if the use and / or admin can assign the allowable IP for login for his/her web mail account that will be make the web mail outstanding to the rest of email server on the market.

Another good idea, Gilbert. If you wouldn't mind, submit this as a separate idea thread to better track community up votes.

Domain admins can see a user's last login date under Settings | Domain Settings | Users. This shows the last account activity by any protocol (POP, IMAP, ActiveSync, etc.). However, currently it does not show which protocol.

I know and agree domain admin should have right to do or over ride any setting for user. But user should also able to see when his/her web mail has been accessed and from where.

If possible provide also the country where the IP's are from.

Great ideas, all of them!

Google mail shows you a list of IP's, geo, device and browser that have access your account.

I LOVE this feature about gmail... I check it probably once a week just for peace of mind and b/c "why not be proactive"
