601 Attempted to send the message to the following ip's
Question asked by Juhair Abdurahiman - 1/15/2015 at 1:29 AM
Answered
I am able to send emails to all domains except 1 (abcd.com).

The following error is coming while sending any emails to abcd.com. I checked MX record, Telnet to port 25 everything is perfect. I can send emails by using Webmail, problem is while using port 25. Can anyone explain what will be the issue.

Could you explain? How do you configure a send connector in SmarterMail? I thought send connectors are only for Exchange servers? thank you for any help you can provide!

in Settings --> Routing --> Outgoing Gateways -->New , Then give the details

thanks! So, does this mean that you're using a different mail server to send out mail? i don't understand why SmarterMail can't send it out itself.

For anyone looking for a solution to this issue. You need to set up a new Outgoing Gateway like the original poster did. In our case, we were using a GoDaddy VPS which requires the following configuration:

Settings > Routing > Outgoing Gateways >New

Server Address dedrelay.secureserver.net
Port 25
Auth Username (blank)
Auth Password (blank)
Encryption None
Description GoDaddy Relay

Follow and check below item and your prob is solved 100%

1- check your domain or IP to be unblocked by spam checking website, the powerful website in this range is Barracuda'
2- Try to test SMTP OUT by Telnet command by type: telnet IP port ( mostly 25 or 2525)
3- Get details about your PTR on the main domain you defined on Smartermail or etc mail server software
4- Contact to your ISP to check to open the specific port 25) -------> this may be done at first step and all solve by doing this
details: may your ISP get changes on Microtic config upon your router
