Since 3 days we are facing frequent issues with smartermail on a server. We have Smartermail 12.0.5178 Pro Edition on a Plesk server. Since past 3 days the smartermail stops working though the service shows to be running. We encounter the following errors
Exception type: SocketException
Exception message: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:17001
The error goes away after restarting the smartermail service, but comes back again after some time.
What could be the issue and how to resolve it?
